Bump Bar: Pregnancy Must Have Snack!

BumpBar is a family business based in South Lake Tahoe, California. BumpBar began in 2015 with a mission to develop a nutrition bar specifically formulated for pregnant women. Dr. Mandi an OBGYN, and at the time, patients in my obstetrics practice were routinely asking her to recommend a healthy snack to complement their active pregnant lifestyles. Nothing in the nutrition aisle at the grocery store (or in specialty stores, either) was designed with them in mind that delivered the right nutrients and tasted great, so she set to work, outlining what women were looking for in a prenatal snack. Taste, convenience and quality ingredients that meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women and their babies were at the top of my list. Her husband and her started baking and many, many test batches later, BumpBar was born. From their family to yours, they hope you like it!

Why BumpBar? Between getting the kids off to school, exercising, work and a thousand other commitments, you don't always have time to make sure your snacks are healthy, furthering baby development and taking into account your own nutritional needs. BumpBar was formulated by a board-certified obstetrician specifically with you in mind!

My Thoughts!

  2. Being pregnant doubles up the needed nutrients a body can have. A healthy snack that is rich in vitamins and packed with minerals can be of help. I would reco this to pregnant moms.

  6. Pregnancy is tough! Sometimes you reach for unhealthy cravings. I used to tame mine with fruits and water, but it's good to find healthy snacks like these for when you're on the go.
