NibMor: The Healthy Chocolate!

                                 

NibMor, short for Nibble More, was created by Heather K. Terry and Jennifer Love when they couldn’t find an affordable chocolate option with the health attributes they were looking for. Started in New York City, Heather turned her tiny NYC kitchen into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory as she learned how to make chocolate and create flavors the whole family would enjoy. Fast forward to 2015 and NibMor has reestablished itself in the rolling hills and sandy beaches of Kennebunk, Maine, a town rich with American tradition and history. NibMor remains dedicated to the original co-founder’s vision of using only the highest quality better-for-youingredients and fair trade practices to deliver chocolate snacks to a store near you and at a price that everyone can afford. At NibMor they have a deep commitment to providing better-for-you chocolate including natural, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and fair trade products so that you can indulge mindfully every day.

Biena: The Protein Snack!

 The founder grew up in a family that’s obsessed with food. Her mom’s an incredible cook, and her dad has always been focused on nutrition. She is also a lifelong vegetarian and always hunting for protein-based foods that will fills her up and keeps her going. She came up with the idea for Biena when she  was grocery shopping. She came across a new snack that was marketed as being healthy. Looking at the back, She was disappointed to see there was very little real nutrition there.In that moment, She thought – there’s got to be something better, and She thought about these chickpea snacks that her mom used to make.

That was the beginning of what led her to create Biena. The rest, as they say, is history!

Bump Bar: Pregnancy Must Have Snack!

BumpBar is a family business based in South Lake Tahoe, California. BumpBar began in 2015 with a mission to develop a nutrition bar specifically formulated for pregnant women. Dr. Mandi an OBGYN, and at the time, patients in my obstetrics practice were routinely asking her to recommend a healthy snack to complement their active pregnant lifestyles. Nothing in the nutrition aisle at the grocery store (or in specialty stores, either) was designed with them in mind that delivered the right nutrients and tasted great, so she set to work, outlining what women were looking for in a prenatal snack. Taste, convenience and quality ingredients that meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women and their babies were at the top of my list. Her husband and her started baking and many, many test batches later, BumpBar was born. From their family to yours, they hope you like it!

Why BumpBar? Between getting the kids off to school, exercising, work and a thousand other commitments, you don't always have time to make sure your snacks are healthy, furthering baby development and taking into account your own nutritional needs. BumpBar was formulated by a board-certified obstetrician specifically with you in mind!

Bakery On Main: My Go To Snack!

It all started in the small bakery of a natural foods market on Main Street in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Their customers with Celiac Disease would visit the bakery and tell them about the lack of good tasting gluten free options available to them. Upon learning this, They believed that nobody should have to suffer due to any kind of food allergy or dietary need. From then on, their mission became creating delicious and FEARLESSLY UNIQUE gluten free products that were good for you and great tasting- while still being safe for their celiac customers!

Their passion has always been to bring their customers delicious baked products made with clean and natural ingredients. It’s common knowledge, preparing canned tuna is messy, smelly, leaves your hands sore and stinky from ferociously squeezing all of the unwanted juice or oil out of the can…not to mention the potential injury from digging that sharp lid out of the can with a fork or your fingers. Instead of accepting this as the end-all to tuna consumption Tuna Squish made it a mission to not deter from enjoying their favorite tuna dishes but rather find a solution to never touch tuna again.
